Dr. Vu D. Tran is a proud Fairfax County native and a dedicated general dentist committed to helping patients achieve long-lasting oral health. He grew up in Fairfax and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from George Mason University. After graduating in 2003, he continued his journey into dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he received his dental degree in 2007.
Following dental school, Dr. Tran returned home to Fairfax County and began practicing alongside his mother at her dental office in Annandale, Virginia. Over the past 19 years, he has built a reputation as a comprehensive general dentist who focuses on restoring patients to their natural, functional state of oral health.
Dr. Tran believes that many dental and oral health issues stem from underlying causes that often go unnoticed. Rather than simply treating symptoms, he takes a thorough and investigative approach—looking closely at oral habits, functional patterns, and oral-facial development that may contribute to dental problems. His goal is to identify the root cause of issues and provide thoughtful treatment solutions that support lasting health and comfort.
